Cakewalks VSampler license was tied to the feature-set of "VSampler 3.0 DXi" in the year 2003, i.e. with the VSampler serial number from the Sonar 3 CD it runs as DXi-plugin only and some of the new functions of VSampler 3.5 are disabled even if you apply the latest VSampler 3.5 update - the registration key makes the difference.
